Coconut oil - A Top 10 Superfood

Posted by Wendy

Long ignored for its lardy reputation, coconut oil experienced a resurgence in interest when Jennifer Aniston was outed as a fan. It’s also been used by the England rugby squad as it raises the metabolic rate and helps the body burn fat more effectively.

Coconut oil, like all vegetable oils, contains no cholesterol. Widely used among the Asian and Pacific populations, and prized for its antibacterial properties, some claim it can help fight heart disease, as well as Candida, diabetes and digestive problems.
