Eating a diet rich in fish and vegetables and low in red meat during pregnancy could reduce the odds of your baby developing asthma and eczema, according to new research from the University of Crete.

The study adds to growing evidence that mothers-to-be may be able to take positive steps to protect their offspring from allergy-related conditions such as asthma. Other possible protective factors include breastfeeding, eating plenty of oily fish and probiotic drinks.
